Can I extend the deadline for a single RFP respondent?

Posted in Inviting Vendors to Respond, last updated on Dec. 10, 2020

A common situation in an RFP is that a vendor fails to submit their response before the deadline passes. Sometimes this is due to unavoidable circumstances and the buyer wishes to extend the deadline for just that vendor, allowing them time to submit.

PostRFP provides complete flexibility in this regard by defining individual deadlines for each Respondent in an RFP. By default, these Respondent deadlines are kept in sync with the Project deadline, but it is simple to change the deadline for individual Respondents.

  1. Open the relevant Project
  2. Click "Respondents" in the tree menu on the left.
  3. Click the name of the Respondent that you wish to grant an extension to
  4. Click "Update Deadline" to change the deadline for that Respondent
